I was in Spotlight (Huge Australian material, sewing, crafts store) today and well… I walked out with a sewing machine.

I had been talking about wanting one that just did basic stitches for years but it is so overwhelming once you start looking into it.

However, today I went in to get some material as I am planning on making my own photo tent and they had this sewing machine on sale for $300. It has heaps of stitches and even has the ability to have two needles running two colours. I thought surely that would be good enough for a beginner! It’s not like I am about to make a gown for a ball. hehehe

I haven’t opened it yet. I really need to read the manual first. Been a long long time since I have touched a sewing machine.

So there you have it, I became impulsive today! Not usually my style but hey once in a while can’t hurt!
