Little Miss Muffet – Saffron Freebie!

Hello Everyone,

Boy 2012 is just around the corner now. Seems so hard to believe another year has just passed. I am a firm believer now that the older you become the faster the years whizz on by!

Today I wanted to share with you this gorgeous little image Saffron who was illustrated by a very dear friend of mine Barbara owner of Little Miss Muffet Stamps. She is celebrating the end of year by offering you Saffron as a freebie here. I have to say I am so proud of Barbara for following her passion and dream. She has come a long way in the last year and her illustrations just keep getting better and better. Big Squeezes Barbara! xo

I am a little disappointed with myself as I have lost a bit of my colouring mojo over the past few weeks after having to colour up a bunch of the images for the new store which took too many hours to count. So I don’t think I have done little Saffron any justice and then well the rest of the card – just close your eyes and imagine it is a completely different colour! haha I Know I know… what was I thinking???

Oh hon. I don’t know what you mean. Your card is just gorgeous and your coloring is breath taking as always. We so appreciate your time you used coloring the store images. It does make it so much nicer to shop that way though. Big hugs

I think your colouring is brilliant as usual, you may be just a little burnt out, lol! Too much work, not enough play. Just relax for a couple of days, yes I know “What am I thinking, relax”! Your mojo will come back.

Hi Zoe!
She’s cute! Love the layout and how much white space you have on your card, it gives the image a really cool focal point, but also shows off your awesome coloring. That muff is so furry! Gr8 card and wonderful support of Barbara’s dream. :)

LOL – I can relate sister. The Christmas craziness has completely sucked up my mojo, I may have actually forgotten how to colour ;D

Happy New Year Zoe and your card with Saffron on looks so elegant.

I disagree with everything in your post … when I saw your card my first thoughts were wow this is so different and I love it. Everything looks very stylish and Saffron is taking centre stage. Adorable.

I can’t believe I’ve never commented on this!! Well, yes, I can actually. LOL Love the way you colored her and the colors just pop up against the black and white card – love that! Great shading too and some nice areas that I’m going to duplicate for the next time I color Saffron. :D *Hugs
